My name is Mrs. Ruth Watkins. I spent over 20 years working in Early Childhood Education
with children from 6 weeks through 17 years old.
Besides my time in the classroom, I'm the Director of an accredited child care center and home facility.
I have a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Delta college,
a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from University of The Pacific,
and teaching credentials through the state of California .
I'm married, and have four adult children and one teenage child .
I work very hard to optimize the learning experience for children.
We work to create the best learning environment for your child that
fosters creative thinking,
problem solving, and the imagination. I look forward to getting to know your child and family this year.

My Name is Alvina Wilson.
I am very excited to be your child’s teacher and look forward to an enriching and rewarding school year. So many great things will happen in our class! Our objectives this year are to help better prepare your child for school; emotionally, socially, and academically in a positive and nurturing environment.
I specialize in infants and toddlers, with four years of experience working in an early learning center, and almost eight working with children in general. I enjoy every aspect of teaching and have realized in my years that they can teach us as much as we teach them.

My name is Vincent Manyweather.
I feel that my true passion is working with Pre-K age children. I love to promote self-help skills and empower the children to believe in themselves. I work with the children in varying situations including large group, small groups, and individually. I believe that providing the right learning is essential for this age because it fosters independence and creativity. Learning centers allow the students to choose where they “play” and to freely explore the learning activities provided for them at their developmental level.

My name is Sade Honey.
I have been working in the Early Childhood setting since 2015, ages ranging from 6 weeks to 6th grade. My vision as your Family and Community Specialist is to engage you in your child’s academic and social development. My mission is to provide you with current information relative to your child’s education, and other subjects of interest that is beneficial to you and your child. My objectives are to be instrumental in navigating parents through the policies and procedures of California Childcare Facilities as well as inform you of your rights and privileges. I will also invite you to monthly parent meetings, Annual Title 22, District, and Community Workshops; I will provide you with Volunteer information, and will work closely with you to make certain you and your child take advantage of the wonderful opportunities available at Mini Bay Tot's.

I have 19 years of experience in education, and very much enjoy working with children. I'm passionate about motivation in the classroom, as well as in life. I have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, and A Pre-K Teaching License. I also received certificates for Infant/Toddler Early Childhood Education and Literacy. I have been working in childcare for 20 years! I love children with all my heart and I enjoy teaching them! I’m looking forward to sharing my knowledge and helping each child based on their individual needs.
I’m here to work with your children and to help them as they grow. I would like to teach children about respecting each other and believing in themselves.
